Areas of expertise
My particular areas of expertise are sport, recreation and sports science. I have an honours degree in Physical Education and Sports Science from Loughborough University. My current profession is in the sports coaching and recreation industry.
In addition, I have a Specialist Award in Editing and Proofreading from Learning Cloud NZ and a Distinction qualification from the Proofreading Academy, UK.
I currently work for Proofed as a freelance proofreader and editor. This work involves professionally editing and proofreading English documents in US, British, Australian, and Canadian English. The focus is on academic dissertations and essays, including supporting ESL writers. Throughout my training, I have worked with APA style, CMOS, Harvard and MLA style.
Other services include proofreading and editing for businesses and authors.
Finally, I volunteer to proofread for Distributed Proofreaders and have the role of Newsletter and Website Editor for my local tramping (hiking) club.
